AMS Educational & Welfare Foundation (AMSEWF) is a non-governmental organization Registered under the Indian Society Registration Act 1860 Reg - 818/15-16 based in Kishanganj, Bihar, India, devoted to building an empowered, equitable, and resilient community. Rooted in the principles of the Indian Constitution’s Preamble—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity—our mission is to uplift individuals and communities through comprehensive support that addresses elemental needs, career empowerment, and personal guidance. Situated in an area frequently affected by floods and climate-related challenges, AMSEWF prioritises climate resilience and environmental stewardship to ensure sustainable, long-term development

Climate Resilience & Sustainability

With Kishanganj’s vulnerability to floods and climate-related issues, AMSEWF’s mission integrates a proactive approach to climate resilience and environmental sustainability. Our efforts include:

  • Community-Based Climate Education: Awareness programs on climate change impacts, adaptation practices, and the importance of environmental stewardship.
  • Sustainable Agriculture Initiatives: Training farmers in flood-resistant crops, soil conservation, and sustainable farming practices to reduce crop loss and promote food security.

He is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience in reputed petroleum companies across several foreign countries, such as Qatar, Malaysia, Brunei, etc.

He is a full-time social worker actively involved in various welfare activities for the backward and marginalising community, contributing to educating rural children.

A major guiding and visionary force of the Foundation, an avid social worker and the first patron among the founder members who transformed this conception of establishing an exemplary welfare society into a reality. He is a graduate in the disciplines of Computer Science & ngineering.

Abdullah Al Kafi

Co-Founder & CEO

Abdullah Al Kafi is a visionary social worker, healthcare entrepreneur, and educationist hailing from Kishanganj, Bihar. Inspired by his father, the late Abdul Matin Salafi, a respected scholar and social reformer, Kafi has dedicated his life to bridging the gaps in education and healthcare in one of India’s most underserved regions. His initiatives reflect a holistic approach to community upliftment, focusing on empowering marginalized populations through strategic educational and healthcare interventions.

Nafish Anwer

Director- Program

A dynamic professional with 19 years of experience, more than 14 years specifically in the Education sector as an Institutional Advisor, Branding and PR, Admission, Management, CSR, Skills Development and Employee Engagement. Proficient in designing and developing strategies for institutional development competency-based learning systems, influencing across the organisation and driving significant change and transformation at the management level and the workforce level. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, problem resolution, conflict management and leadership skills. Possess the ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
